The Shoe Clinic Asics 5K Series race on Tuesday, 22 January 2019 is part of an annual 5 race series at Hagley Park North in Christchurchs
Each evening, there is a 5km race for Athletics New Zealand registered athletes, a separate 5km fun run for recreational runners and walkers, and a 1.6km fun run for children 14 years and under. New for the 2019 series is a 3 x 1 mile team relay.
North Hagley Park is in the centre of the city, making access very easy and the entry fee is purposefully kept low to encourage people and families to compete in all five runs. The series is a great opportunity to help keep in trim shape over the summer holidays and to see some of Christchurch's best runners in action in the registered races.
