The Hanmer Four Square Half Marathon, 10km & 5km fun run on Saturday, 4 May 2019 is held annually, in the picturesque Village of Hanmer Springs, 130km NW of Christchurch.

The race is organised by Amazing Days on behalf of The Community Trust as a community fundraiser. The Hanmer 4 square half marathon takes competitors on a unique journey through Hanmer Forest amongst some amazing mountain scenery and is a great pre race for The Christchurch Marathon.

There will be music, a Lions sausage sizzle, Monteiths, coffee, kids playground, massage, food and merchandise at the finishing line.

Location map

The half marathon and 10km events start at the Hanmer Springs Domain on Jacks Pass Road and finish at the school field on Jollies Pass Rd. The 5km starts on Jollies Pass Road near Dog Stream Reserve.
