The ASICS Christchurch Marathon on 18 April 2027 consists of a Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km and Kids MaraFun runs.

The Marathon is a 2-lap, flat course that starts on Park Terrace and takes a scenic tour of iconic landmarks such as Hagley Park, the Christchurch Town Hall, Canterbury Museum and the Avon River. The Half Marathon is 1-lap of the same course. Both distances are certified to IAAF & AIMS standard.

The 10km course is a 1-lap route taking in the Central City in Christchurch.

There are also races for the kids on a safe, scenic course that follows the cycle/foot path within Hagley Park.

The event is based from the Hagley Park Special Events Area. Start line for the Full, Half and 10K is on Park Terrace.
