JE Collett Sea2Sky Challenge

The JE Collett Builders Sea 2 Sky Challenge is a unique sports challenge based in Christchurch on Sunday, 31 March 2019.

The challenge comprises: an ocean swim, a stunning road cycle that climbs to the highest roads in Christchurch, before concluding with a hilly run along a scenic coastal trail.

There are individual and team relay options, kids events, and a run/bike/run event for participants who don't want to swim.

Each athlete that enters the full Sea 2 Sky Challenge will be issued with a race bib number that is theirs for life! Event patron Dr John Hellemans will be honoured with the #1 bib.

Distances/Events

Triathlon (swim + bike + run):
Kids 150m + 9km + 2km
750m + 18km + 7.5km

Duathlon (run + bike + run):
Kids 1km + 9km + 2km
2km + 18km + 7.5km

Kids Aquathon:
Swim/wade + 1km run
