Triathlon Run/Walk Off Road/Trail Aquathon Duathlon Kids Relay

The Sea 2 Sky Challenge is a unique sports challenge based in Christchurch on Sunday, 29 March 2020.

The challenge comprises: an ocean swim, a stunning road cycle that climbs to the highest roads in Christchurch, before concluding with a hilly run along a scenic coastal trail. There are individual and team relay options, kids events, and a run/bike/run event for participants who don't want to swim.

The 2020 event introduces a standalone 17km run up the Captain Thomas track to the top of Evans Pass, along the Summit Road to Godley head where you will join the triathletes and duathletes for the beautiful Godley Head track before the slog over Scarborough Hill via the Taylors Mistake track, then down the Scarborough track to the finish at the clocktower.


Trail Run:

Triathlon (swim + bike + run):
Kids 150m + 9km + 2km
750m + 18km + 7.7km

Duathlon (run + bike + run):
Kids 1km + 9km + 2km
2km + 18km + 7.7km

Kids Aquathon:
Swim/wade + 1km run
