The Ashley River Ramble is a fun family fun run, walk & bike on Sunday, 3 March 2019 starting at Waikuku Beach and finishing in Rangiora.

You can bike or walk/run the 11km course, which follows the Ashley River gravel stopbanks through river and farmland scenes.

All proceeds in 2019 will go to the Ashley Rakahuri Rivercare Group, a volunteer group which protects endangered birds whilst recognising recreational use and river control works.

The course runs from Waikuku Beach Domain and finishes at the Ashley River Picnic Grounds, next to the highway bridge on Cones Road in Rangiora.
