The Pioneer Mountain Bike Stage Race through New Zealand's Southern Alps is a true pioneering race from Sunday, 25 November to Friday, 30 November 2018.

All those who compete love the stunning scenery, the brutal nature of the challenge, and they leave heaping praise on this epic event through New Zealand’s pristine high country.

Many riders push themselves to their absolute limits and then ride beyond to discover new limits for themselves and their teammate. The level of camaraderie that develops amongst the riders around the social lounge in camp every day is staggering and heart-warming. Life-long friends are made on this journey!

Prologue: Coronet Peak 22km, 1500m
Stage 1: Queenstown to Queenstown 66km, 2878m
Stage 2: Alexandra to Alexandra 114km, 2750m
Stage 3: Alexandra to Bannockburn 75km, 2600m
Stage 4: Bannockburn to Bannockburn 83km, 3100m
Stage 5: Bannockburn to Arrowtown 67km, 2800m
