Current Competitions

Go in the draw to win a free entry into the 5K or 10K Run Auckland 2011 at Botany Junction on Sunday July 10th 2011. This competition runs until the end of Tuesday June 28th 2011. Enter the competition.

Recent Competition Winners

Ashly Gilmore won the free entry to the next Run Auckland at Western Springs on Sunday June 19th 2011. Ashly will be driving up from Tauranga to run in the 5K.

What's coming up over the next two weeks?

Saturday June 18th 2011

• Nothing today!

Sunday June 19th 2011

• Wellington Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and Kids Magic Mile. I'm running the Marathon.
• Run Auckland at Western Springs with 10K and 5K events for the adults and 2K and 4K for the kids
• Sri Chinmoy Cross Country at Canterbury Agricultural Park with an 8K for the adults and 2.5K for the kids
• The Mount Vernon Grand Traverse in Marlborough with 18K, 11K and kids 2K events.
• Multisport Marton Harrier Series at Taurimu Rd off Galpins Rd with 2K, 4K and 9K options.

Saturday June 25th 2011

• Escape from Tane's Forest at the Brook Waimarama Sanctuary near Nelson with approx 13K and 23K options

Sunday June 26th 2011

• 3 Peaks Challenge Series Race 2 in Wellington, taking in Odell's Reserve, Mt Victoria, Wilton Substation. You choose the route and whether to run all three peaks, two or just one.

• The Frontrunner New Plymouth 5K Series at 5:30pm

Tuesdays

• AdiRun Newmarket at 6:00pm with 5K, 7K and 10K options

Wednesdays

• The Rat Race 5K in Milford, Auckland at 6:00pm
• Waitakere Triathlon and Multisport Club Weekly 5K at 6:15pm

Thursdays

• Brooks Shoe Clinic 5K Series in Petone from August 4th to September 8th from 5:45pm

Until Next Week...

Have a great running week! I ran the superlong option at Xterra Shakespear Park last Sunday and will be running the Wellington Marathon next Sunday. I took some photos while I was running Shakespear and have posted them up on Facebook.
