Go in the draw to win one of four entries into the Tough Guy and Gal event in Wellington on Saturday June 16th 2012. This competition runs until Sunday May 20th 2012 at 11:59pm and the winner will be drawn at random the following day. Enter competition.
The event will be based at the 240 ha Wainui Boys' Brigade Camp, 203 Coast Rd, Wainuiomata, 10km from Lower Hutt. Run through water trails, crawl under barb wire obstacles, swamp crossings, bush trails, hill climbs and a rope bridge to throw into the mix. A six kilometre (one lap) or 12 kilometre (two laps) options are available.
The winners of the two entries into the Big O Trail Run 35K or 15K at Lake Okatina in Rotorua, New Zealand on Saturday May 26th 2012 were Glenn Larsen and Hayley Morris who will both be entering the 19K event.
The Big O is a bit different this year due to an enforced course change and is now a "35km Big X" with a series of out and backs, and the 19km a single out and back. (There is a 4.9km section in each event which you only run along in one direction so it's not quite all out and back).
