The Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon in Dunedin returns to Taieri College, Mosgiel on 1 March 2026.

This annual series is designed for Kiwi kids aged 6 to 15 years to help them stay active and healthy through a programme of participation.

The TRYathlon begins with the swim leg in the indoor pool at Taieri College. The Transition area is located on the school field. The bike leg is around the streets surrounding Taieri College, and the run leg is around the school field.

The triathlon can be done solo or in a team of two; in two person teams, one team member completes the swim, one team member completes the cycle and both complete the run.

There is also a 'Splash n Dash' Aquathon event for 6 year olds.

6 years: 50m + 1.5K

Triathlon (Swim + Bike + Run) - solo/teams of 2
7 years: 50m + 4K + 1.5K
8-10 years: 100m + 4K + 1.5K
11-15 years: 150m + 8K + 1.5K

Duathlon (Bike + Run) - solo
7-10 years: 4K + 1.5K
11-15 years: 8K + 1.5K
