The Wellington Splash and Dash on 3 December 2025 is part of an annual series held every second Wednesday after work, at Freyberg Beach, Oriental Parade.

Beginner or pro, there is something for everyone, with Swim + Run events and Ocean Swims. Race your heart out, or just toe the line and have some fun.

For kids under 13, there is the option of a run only event, running one lap of the distance offered on the night (1.5km, 2km, or 2.5km).
