The Bivouac Outdoor Mount Isobel Challenge on Saturday, 25 May 2019 is an annual mountain duathlon which takes place in the picturesque village of Hanmer Springs.

The race, organised by Amazing Days Events on behalf of The Community Trust as a community fundraiser, takes competitors on a unique journey through Hanmer Forest amongst some amazing mountain scenery. The course involves 8km, 1000m ascent mountain-run and a non technical mountain bike ride of approx 22 km. The race can be done either as an individual or as a two person team.
