Follow event Off Road/Trail Duathlon Multisport Relay

Established in 1991, the Crazyman on 14 December 2025 is one of NZ's longest running multisport events.

The event includes multisport (kayak / MTB / trail run) and duathlon (MTB / trail run) events that can be run solo or as part of a two or three person team. The scenic sea kayak takes entrants from Days Bay in Eastbourne to the iconic Petone Wharf and Hutt River. The MTB is an epic ride up the Hutt River Trail and over Belmont Regional Park. The off-road run takes you around Belmont Trig and follows Korokoro Stream's beautiful bush tracks to finish by the iconic Petone Wharf.

Based around the icon outdoor elements of Wellington's Hutt City this scenic tour showcases the hills, beaches, harbour and river that make our Capital the outdoor wonderland that it is.
