The Barefoot XTRAIL Series McKerrow's Revenge on 25 October 2026 in Wainuiomata is part of an annual series of off road trail runs.

Short Course Runners and Walkers run on high-quality trails with mix of bush, river valley and open areas whilst Long and Medium Course runners add in a solid climb up to the very best native bush and technical running in the series.

Each race in the series has short, medium and long distances, which equate to approximately 5km to 7km for short courses, 10km to 14km for medium courses, and 17km to 20km+ for long courses.
