Follow event Off Road/Trail Duathlon Multisport Relay

The Finesigns Crazyman on 13 December 2026 is the Wellington region's premier multisport event and one of NZ's oldest.

It features a spectacular 56km of kayaking, mountain biking and trail running on the harbour, hills and bush tracks of the spectacular Hutt Valley.

Participants can enter as individuals or in a relay team in either the full Multisport format, or as a Duathlon (Mountain Bike / Trail Run).

The scenic sea kayak takes entrants from Days Bay in Eastbourne to the iconic Petone Wharf and Hutt River. The MTB is an epic ride up the Hutt River Trail and over Belmont Regional Park. The off-road run takes you around Belmont Trig and follows Korokoro Stream's beautiful bush tracks to finish by the iconic Petone Wharf.

"The Crazyman" is a community event embracing all ages, abilities and backgrounds.

The Kayak starts at Days Bay Beach. Transition 1 is Sladden Park. Finish is Heretaunga Boating Club.
