The Abel Tasman Coastal Classic on Saturday, 14 October 2017 is an off road trail run in the Abel Tasman National Park which was first run in 1994.

The reputation of the event, the location and its organisation continues to spread via word of mouth and the event continually sells out each year.

Race day starts with boarding a Sea Shuttle after registering at the Marahua Outdoor Education Centre and includes lunch and the prize giving dinner at Marahua.
