The ultimate guide to running in heat & humidity
I don't know what it's been like around the rest of the country, but here in Auckland we've been frequently getting up to 99% humidity; running in that is hard work because you get coated in sweat and it won't evaporate off to cool you down. Sprints, strides, and surges can make you faster
By pushing yourself really hard for short periods during speed work training, you'll build muscle as well as the ability to run more efficiently, which will help you run your 5K, 10K, half marathon or marathon faster. Check out Hal Higden's tips here at Runners World for more information about sprints, strides and surges.

Check out this article at Motiv Running for 5 tips for getting the most enjoyment out of running and life.
