When running is more than a sport
Taylor Little has cerebral palsy and needed someone else's legs to get her through a marathon. 60 year old Peter Kline was looking for a challenge and pushed her in a large jogging stroller at the 2012 Las Vegas Marathon. Kline never returned to traditional racing and founded Marathons With Meaning, an organization that pairs runners and people with disabilities. Find out more in this article at the New York Times.

- Pumpkin Fun Run Series in Wanganui on Thursdays from 8 February to 15 March
- The River Run on Thursdays in February & March
- Harcourts Cooper & Co Beach Series has added make up dates for the cancellations on Thursday 29 March & 5 April (these are in addition to the regular day on Tuesday)
- GJ Gardner Orewa Beach Series has added an extra date on the end (15 March) to make up for a cancellation
