Wairarapa Multisports Club (WMSC) hosts an annual Biathlon Series across Spring and Summer with this race on 22 October 2026.

The Biathlons (Bike + Run) have a range of distances to choose from, with both MTB and road cycling options. The run legs are held on the same run course with 2.5km runners turning around at a cone placed at 1.25km. The Biathlons can be entered as an individual or in a 2 person relay team.

There are also run/walk only and bike only options.

All abilities are welcome. Start times are staggered (the fastest participants set off last) which means that the slower runners/walkers/cyclists aren't the last on the course.
