The inaugural Ultra Wanaka event on 26 April 2026 includes the flagship 50K Ultra plus a Half Marathon and 11.5km trail run.

The courses are fast and scenic, on runnable flowing, well-maintained single track along the Upper Clutha River and Wānaka lakefront.

All routes are point-to-point courses, with the 50km and Half Marathon starting from Dublin Bay and the 11.5km at Hikūwai Conservation Area.

The event hub and finish line is on Wānaka's lakefront. There is mandatory bus transport from the race hub to to the start line for all distances.
