The Triathlon Hawkes Bay Summer Series is a annual series in Napier, with the fourth race on 21 February 2027.

The series caters for participants of all ages, and walkers are welcome and encouraged to enter. The full triathlon events are recommended for anyone aged 14 years and over, but there are duathlon and aquathlon options to suit all ages.

The triathlons can be competed as an individual or in a relay team of 2-3 people.

There are also 5km and 10km run/walk only options along the stunning Ahuriri Estuary pathway.

Short: 200m + 14K + 2K - solo/relay
Sprint: 700m + 21K + 5K - solo/relay
Standard: 1300m + 42K + 10K - solo/team

Duathlon (Run + Bike + Run):
Short: 2K + 14K + 2K
Sprint: 5K + 21K + 5K

Aquathon (Swim + Run):
Short: 200m + 2K
Sprint: 700m + 5K

Run/Walk Only:
5K
10K

Kids Aquathon (Swim + Run):
100m + 1K

Plus Aquabike events
