Tarawera Ultra-Trail by UTMB from 13 to 14 February 2027 is New Zealand's largest trail running event and most prestigious ultramarathon.
Runners can complete the 14km, 21km, 50km, 102km distances, or the 100 Mile Endurance Run. The spectacular courses take in the most stunning scenery imaginable, featuring eight different lakes, waterfalls, and the lushest native New Zealand forests.
The T100 is a point-to-point course starting in Kawerau and finishing in Rotorua, taking in 5 stunning lakes, and running beneath the mighty maunga of Tarawera, Ruawahia and Wahanga.
The TMiler is one of the most scenic 100 mile runs in the world on a loop course starting and finishing in Rotorua.
Tarawera Ultra-Trail by UTMB is part of the UTMB World Series, attracting some of the world’s best elite trail runners. All distances carry the opportunity to earn Running Stones towards qualifying for UTMB Mont Blanc.
