The Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team in Christchurch, New Zealand organise a series of races at the Sumner Esplanade, with the final race on 27 July 2025.

This event follows a flat 2.5km out-and-back on the Esplanade walkway, starting at the clock tower. 2.5km entrants will complete the course once and 10km entrants four times.

Parents or caregivers are welcome to accompany children in the 2.5km race at no extra charge.
