The Wellington Splash and Dash on 4 February 2026 is part of an annual series held every second Wednesday after work, at Freyberg Beach, Oriental Parade.

This event is the new date for Round 3 which was postponed from the original planned date 17 December 2025.

Beginner or pro, there is something for everyone, with Swim + Run events and Ocean Swims. Race your heart out, or just toe the line and have some fun.

For kids under 13, there is the option of a run only event, running one lap of the distance offered on the night (1.5km, 2km, or 2.5km).

The Splash and Dash starts and finishes on Freyberg Beach, on Oriental Parade, adjacent to Freyberg Pool.
