Red Zone 6 returns in 2019 on Sunday, 10 February (date TBC); this 6 hour mountain bike challenge is in the Burwood Red Zone in Christchurch.

This event was one of the first events to be staged in the Red Zone: 6 hours of mountain bike riding around the Burwood subdivision, taking an 11km circuit of the footpaths, tracks and roads. The footpaths have become a perfect mountain bike track from the earthquakes, liquefaction and natural growth on the berms of the roads.

This 11km circuit will be a challenge for everyone and will be fast. Ride solo or in a team with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 people.
