The New Zealand Sotheby's International Realty Queenstown Marathon on Saturday, 15 November 2025 incorporates a 42km marathon, 21.1km half marathon, 10km fun run and kids fun run events.

Set between the backdrop of the world renowned Crown and Remarkable mountain ranges, and taking in the best highlights of the Queenstown Lakes region including Millbrook resort, Arrowtown, Lake Hayes, Shotover River, Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown Gardens and finishing in the heart of Queenstown itself.

The course offers a unique mix of running terrain including smooth hard packed trails and road running. It features easy running on a mainly flat course, with some undulations to keep it interesting.

Location map

All events finish at the Queenstown Memorial Centre Recreational Ground. The marathon starts at Millbrook Resort; the half marathon on Speargrass Flat Rd; and the 10K on Allan Crescent in Frankton. The kids event starts in Queenstown Gardens.
