The Owairaka King and Queen of the Mountain on 20 June 2025 is a 5km run up and down Puketāpapa / Mt Roskill in Auckland.

The club has aligned their historic King and Queen of the Maunga race with Matariki celebrations. Gather together, run the mountain Puketāpapa and join in for a cup of tea and soup afterwards.

There is a 5km walk option, a 5km run option and a 2.5km run option for tamariki (Under 16s).

The 2025 5K start/finish line is outside 41 Ernie Pinches Street. The 2.5K Tamariki race starts at the top of Puketāpapa Mt Roskill.
