The Omakere Coastal Hill Country Walk & Trail Run returns to Central Hawke's Bay on 18 October 2025.

Choose your challenge and walk or run the 8km or 13km distance, both of which offer stunning panoramic views from rolling hills to sparkling ocean.

Explore this extra special private farmland not often experienced by many as you walk/run at your own pace - great for competitive runners and leisurely walkers alike.

After crossing the finish line, reward your efforts with a delicious lunch, then join the vibrant finish-line festivities featuring live music, local market stalls, and refreshing drinks available for purchase.

This event is hosted by the Omakere School & Community Association and raises money to support the Omakere school.

This event is part of The Spring Fling Festival 2025.
