The Oamaru Triathlon & Duathlon is at Friendly Bay in Oamaru on 1 March 2026 on the same day as the South Island Secondary School Triathlon & Duathlon Champs.

This event is held in association with major sponsors: Whitestone Contracting, Victor Nelsons Cycles; Martyns Cycles; Brackens Print Ltd; Apex Engineering; Otago Community Trust; Aqualine Swim; Brian Denny Optometrist, Adair Craik Chartered Accountants Ltd.

It is a TriNZ Endorsed Event and School Sport NZ sanctioned event.

Recreational: 300m + 12K + 2.5K
Long: 750m + 20K + 5K

Duathlon (Run + Bike + Run):
Recreational: 2K + 12K + 2.5K
Long: 2K + 20K + 5K
