The ASB NZ 10km Road & Walks Championships on 29 August 2026 are held at Lake Rotomanu, New Plymouth.

The championship races are open to registered members of Athletics NZ-affiliated clubs across all age grades, from Under 14 through to Masters 35+.

The event also includes an open 5km race for any runners chasing a PB, looking for a run with friends, or keen to experience the thrill of running on closed roads.

There is also a 2.5km race for the kids to have fun and enjoy their own finish-line moment.
