The North Shore Marathon on 29 August 2027 has full Marathon, Half Marathon, Quarter Marathon and 5km distances, as well as a kids' mile.

The Half Marathon and Marathon are based on a 21.1km circuit starting on Takapuna beach before taking in the beautiful North Shore coastline with sections along Takapuna, Cheltenham and Milford beaches and a circuit up and around Maungauika/Historic North Head.

North Head has some of Auckland's best views over the city and out into the Hauraki Gulf to Rangitoto Island.

The Quarter Marathon (10.5km) runs the same course until a turnaround point at Cheltenham Beach. The 5km turns around at Belmont Intermediate School on Lake Road.
