The Nexans Fun Run/Walk Series at Inglewood in Taranaki on 18 January 2026 is part of an annual summer series held in the New Plymouth area.

Starting from TOPEC, the course for this event is mainly off-road. There is a choice of a 5km flat course for those who can't manage the hills, or the 5km lake challenge with a good steady climb up to Lake Mangamahoe and back. The 9.5km is a combination of both 5km courses.

This is a fun, all-age event series for the whole family to enjoy. Whether you walk, run, stroll or plod, this series caters for all ages and fitness levels, with three to four distances from 2km to 16km at each event. It's also a great way to experience the beautiful Taranaki region.

It is a cup-free event - bring your own cup/water bottle.
