The annual Nelson Half Festival of Running event on 1 November 2026 is suitable for all - from beginners and recreational athletes to serious competitors.

The run is on a scenic, flat course around the walkways of Stoke and along the Waimea Estuary.

As well as the Half Marathon, supporting distances include 10km, 5km and 2.5km. All are open to runners and walkers.
