The Manawatu Striders Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km, 5km and Kids' MaraFun on 24 May 2026 is based at Massey University.

The marathon course takes in the stunning scenery along the Manawatu Bridle Track and across the Fitzherbert bridge.

Event HQ will offer the full post-race experience; where you can relax, soak up the atmosphere, appreciate a well-earned massage, refuel, and enjoy celebrating your achievement with friends and family.

The Kids MaraFun event for under 12 year olds is free of charge with a distance of 700m (short) or 2.5km (long). There is no need to register for this event.
