The Linger and Die Trail Run on 19 September 2026 is a 21.5km off-road adventure through the rugged landscapes of Matangi Bike Park, Alexandra.

Based from the Alexandra Holiday Park, the course takes runners on a mix of purpose built trails, historic gold mining terrain, punchy climbs, flowing descents and wide-open Central Otago views.

It's a challenging but achievable course for trail runners with plenty of variety to keep things interesting.

This event also includes a 21.5km and 31.5km MTB races.
