Kelly's Canter on 18 October 2026 is an annual 4km fun run/walk in Palmerston, Otago organised by the Lions Club of Palmerston.

This annual event is is being held for the 55th time and is perfect to get all the family involved in trail running. Climb picturesque Puketapu Hill and enjoy the panoramic view.

The race is dedicated to Albert Kelly who ran up Puketapu as a constable in the Palmerston police force every day during World War II to look out for enemy ships.
