The Bayleys Huntly Half Marathon on 17 May 2026 is New Zealand's oldest standalone half marathon event, having started in 1981.

The course starts from Huntly Speedway and heads through and around Lake Kimihia (formally East Mine), down and around Lake Hakanoa before using some of the original course and streets in Huntly and heading back to Lake Kimihia to finish at the Speedway.

As well as the 21.1km half marathon, there is a 10km fun run/walk, 5km fun run/walk and a kids 2km event.
