The Christchurch Motorway Half Marathon on 1 March 2026 starts and finishes at the Canterbury Agricultural Park.

The course is traffic free and caters for all levels of runners from beginners to elite runners aiming for a PB. Entrants will be able to see vehicles racing past on the motorway as they enjoy this fast run.

As well as the Half Marathon, there is also a 5km and 10km distance - each distance also offers a walking category.

There is also a 2km Kids' run.
