The Barefoot XTRAIL Series Starlight Makara race at Makara Peak, Karori on 21 June 2025 is part of an annual series of winter off road trail runs.

Imagine picking your way through bush-clad trails with hundreds of other bobbing head torches, all under a starlit sky. No personal bests in this event, just a brand new experience for most and new way to explore Wellington's great trails.

This race offers a long and short course option.
