The inaugural Auckland Triathlon Festival is on 29 March 2026 at Wynyard Quarter, in the heart of Auckland City.

The Oceania Paratriathlon Championships will be the showpiece of the event featuring elite para triathletes, with elite able-bodied athletes competing in the Continental Cup race on the Auckland waterfront course.

For community and age group participants, you can register for a Sprint distance triathlon. This is open to anyone aged 16 and over, and includes a 750m swim, 20km bike and 5km run.

The swim is a single 750m lap swim starting and finishing in Jellicoe Harbour. The bike leg is 4 fast and technical laps around Wynyard Quarter, Westhaven Drive and Silo Park. The run leg is 2 laps along the waterfront through Wynyard Quarter, North Wharf and Halsey Wharf.
