The Alpha Challenge on 5 December 2026 includes OCR and Adventure Racing, set in Wanaka overlooking the stunning Dublin Bay.

The signature event includes 5km and 10km OCR races - run, carry things, monkey bars, jump over walls, climb, crawl in mud and with plenty of surprises thrown in. There are competitive and open waves, plus an adaptive course option.

Also included is a team-based Adventure Race where teams of 4 race around and find clues and adventure throughout the course.

New in 2026 is a functional fitness race that combines running with strength and fitness challenges designed to test your grit and determination.
