The Alpha Challenge is an Obstacle Course Race set in Dublin Bay, Wanaka on 29 November 2025.

Grab your friends and family and join in this obstacle course race, which will be a celebration of friends, family and OCR fun.

The courses are packed with obstacles and challenges - run, carry things, monkey bars, jump over walls, climb, crawl in mud and a few surprises thrown in. All while overlooking the stunning backdrop of Dublin Bay.

New in 2025 is the Alpha Challenge Adventure Race where OCR meets Orienteering meets Amazing Race. Teams of 2-5 race around and find clues and adventure throughout the course.
