The Maxis Projects 6+6 Adventure Race at Sandy Point in Invercargill is a 2-day multi-sport event from 25 to 26 April 2026 with a 6 Hour stage each day.

This is an entry-level adventure race designed to enable all levels to take part, from corporate teams to secondary school children and everything in between.

The event is separated into 2 x 6 Hour stages (6+6) and will incorporate mountain bike, trekking, orienteering and kayaking - kayaks are provided.

Teams are made up of 4 people, and there are categories for male, female, mixed and students.

Location map

The course details will be secret until race day. However the second day will be contained within the Sandy Point and Oreti Beach areas.
