The 4 Paws Marathon on 5 October 2025 at Bottle Lake Forest in Christchurch, is an off road run/walk that gives you a chance to run with your best friend.

With a choice of 2.5km, 5km, 10km, 16km, half marathon, 32.2km and marathon distances, the 4 Paws is designed to cater for all levels of fitness. The terrain is soft underfoot and with spectacular scenery.

This event is a dream inspired by a passionate Sport & Exercise Doctor who loves running with his dogs. It is a celebration of "exercise is medicine" as well as a salute to our best friend and loyal exercise ally - the humble dog.
