Waimea Harriers was founded in 1964 and the object of the club is to encourage and practice harrier running and walking in the Nelson area.

The club is a group of people of all ages who get together to participate in running and walking for the benefit of their fitness and general health.

Based in Richmond, Nelson, they are very keen on promoting both competitive running and family participation and our members come from Atawhai to Tapawera to Takaka.
