The McDonald Real Estate Everett Park Adventure Run on 12 April 2026 is a community trail run event to raise funds to protect this beautiful patch of forest in Taranaki.

Choose from a 2.5km, 4.5km and 9km course set on pest control lines, not usually open to the public. The rugged trails are on mostly flat terrain with a mix of gravel track, a swing bridge, and mainly bush lines to run along.

The 9km track is narrow and single-lane in places, and has a section that follows the ridge above the Manganui River where it has some steep cliffs.

There are walk options for the 2.5km and 4.5km events.

This event helps to raise funds for the East Taranaki Environment Collective's pest control work in Everett Park.
