Tauranga City to Surf returns with revised routes for 2026

The Mitre 10 Mega Tauranga City to Surf returns on Sunday 8th November with some important course changes for 2026. Following the tragic events affecting Mauao, access to the base track is prohibited, requiring adjustments to event routes.

Updated course maps for all events are available on the website. The Half Marathon and 5km distances remain unchanged, while the iconic 11km City to Surf event has been shortened to 8.5km this year.

Organisers appreciate participants' understanding and support and look forward to welcoming everyone back to enjoy a great day out while supporting the Mount as it continues its recovery.
