The Pay What You Want Tauranga Half Marathon, 15km, 10km, 5km and Matua Mile have scenic courses that take in numerous local parks, reserves and walkways.

This event is taking a break in 2024; A new date in 2025 is TBC.

Expect to post smart times on the rolling, scenic, half marathon course, which includes a loop of the Tauranga CBD streets, picturesque Memorial Park, plus Beach Road, Harbour Drive and Kulim Park.

The 15km links up Tauranga's finest walkways, and includes Matua Saltmarsh & Daisy Hardwick Walkway, Beach Road, Harbour Drive and Kulim Park.

The achievable 10km course hugs the Tauranga coastline & includes Beach Road, Harbour Drive and Kulim Park.

The 5km is another flat, fast cracking course that hugs the Tauranga coastline and includes Beach Road with a turn point inside Kulim Park.

The Matua Mile is the final event of the day for young and old. The course contains a mix of grass/dirt walkways, a lap of the Fergusson Park fields and a flat finish on the internal roadway inside Fergusson Park.
