The Soaked in Adventure 3 and 6 hour Adventure Race is set in a magical setting near Whakatāne, which includes farmland, native bush and forestry.

This event is taking a break in 2025. The next event date is to be confirmed.

The 3 hour race is designed for beginners to adventure racing and is a great opportunity to get the kids involved in adventure racing. Navigation will be basic and appropriate for everyone with the course suitable for beginners and children. The mountain bike will be non-technical and there will be mystery activities to complete.

The 6 hour event is designed so that anyone can complete the course, or have options to cut it short if required. Some level of fitness will be required. The navigation in this event will be based around tracks, roads and rivers making it achievable for those new to navigation. There will also be mystery activities at the 6 hour race.

This event takes place at a secret location within a 30 minute drive from Whakatāne. The exact location will be revealed one week before race day.
