Follow event Run/Walk Road/Path/Park Relay Night

The popular Ledlenser Puketapu Night Run in Hawkes Bay is back on 31 July 2026 with 17km, 12km or 6.25km distance.

2026 sees the return of the full Puketapu Loop (17km) with a twist - the course is being run backwards. Run the course as an individual, or in a 3 person relay with legs of approximately 5.5km, 5.25km and 6.25km.

For those those who don't want to tackle the full distance, there is a 12km race from Springfield Road to Puketapu School via Lennox Park; plus a a 6.25km fun run from Lennox Park (Omaranui Rd) to Puketapu School.

This is your chance to experience the Hawke’s Bay Trails in a completely different way.

This event is run by Puketapu School Parents’ League as a fundraiser for Puketapu School.

The 17K starts at Puketapu School (the finish line for all events), the 12K at Springfield Road & 6.25K at Lennox Park.
