It's the time of year for the Junior Cross Country Races, to be held at Hansen Park, Ōpāwa on Saturday, 9 October 2021.

Please note the event originally planned for 4 September has been postponed to 9 October 2021 and includes the Ngā Puna Wai Relay.

Several hundred youth runners will hit the course to compete in the Canterbury U18 Junior Cross Country Championships. School teams and community runners are all welcome.

There will be 2km & 3km events on park terrain. Runners will be entered into the event in their age group.

This event is organised by the Port Hills Athletic Club.

Distances/Events

2K for U12 grades
3K for U14 to U16 grades
